Group Classes

Our Reformer and Pilates equipment group classes are kept small with a maximum of nine clients at Tanjong Pagar and ten at Orchard and New Bahru. You’ll be working out to a soundtrack that will either get your adrenaline pumping or help you centre yourself for a restorative session.


Class Prerequisites

Prerequisite classes should take place within 3 to 6 months prior to attending a higher level class. Instructors may assess and recommend clients to take higher or lower level classes.

Beginner Level: No prerequisites required
Level 1: 3 to 5 Basic I or Basic II classes attended
Level 2: 5 to 10 Level 1 classes attended


Basic I (Beginner Level - Reformer)

New to Reformer Pilates? Learn the foundations of Reformer Pilates in this class as we workout your core and get you strong. Train your full body muscle control, balance, coordination in this beginner-friendly class.

This is a Beginner Level class.
Prerequisite: None. This is a prerequisite for other classes. Attend any
three Basic I or Basic II classes to join Level 1 classes.

Basic II (Beginner Level - Reformer)

The “i’m in between levels” class.

Ready to move on from BASIC I, but not quite ready for Level 1 classes yet? This class will help you gain a deeper understanding of Reformer Pilates, while further strengthening your body. We'll break down each movement in relation to essential Pilates principles, allowing you to focus on refining your form and technique. Boost your confidence before transitioning to Level 1 or revisit the basics as an experienced client.

This is a Beginner Level class.
Prerequisite: None. This is a prerequisite for other classes. If you have no Reformer experience, attend BASIC I first. Attend any
three Basic I or Basic II classes to join Level 1 classes.

 

Sculpt (Level 1 - Reformer)

Did anyone say, Bubble Butt? Work at shaping that ass, arms and abs in this class as we help you get that toned body you’ve always wanted. Sculpt your body with exercises that will not only focus on strengthening your stability core muscles, but get your arms, legs and ass burning as well.

This is a Level 1 class.

Strengthen and lengthen in this total body workout that’ll have your core burning through three-dimensional exercises from your front, side and back. Improve your spinal mobility with targeted moves, helping you move with ease throughout your day. Finish strong with lower body exercises that lengthen and tone your muscles, leaving you feeling taller, stronger, more flexible and ready to take on anything.

This is a Level 1 class.
Prerequisite: 3 to 5 x Basic I or Basic II classes

An avid fan of our Sculpt classes? You’re going to love this one. Enjoy the same full-body toning and strengthening workout with an added bit of conditioning. We’re making it dynamic, while keeping it cardio-light for a well-rounded and energising session that will leave you feeling sculpted and revitalised. While this is a low-impact class, it is not suitable for those with lower body injuries and pain. The jumpboard will be used in this class.

This is a Level 1 class.

Loosen out the kinks in your shoulders, strengthen those back muscles and elongate your body in this gentle and not too sweaty Reformer class. We'll work on progressively improving our posture and alignment through a mixture of stretching and strengthening exercises.

If you're suffering from poor posture and tech neck (turtle neck) from long hours hunched over your computer, or just want to ensure your posture remains in tip top state, this class is for you!

This is a Level 1 class.

Ignite your morning with high-energy exercises that’ll elevate your heart rate and boost energy levels to get you feeling pumped and ready to go. This full-body workout will have you sculpting and toning with dynamic movements that’ll engage every muscle group. The session will end off with mobility-enhancing stretches to leave you feeling ready to take on the day, both energized and prepared for peak performance.

This is a Level 1 class.

BOSU Pilates (Level 1 - Reformer)

Exclusive to Palais Renaissance, this class will incorporate both the BOSU ball and the Reformer in a core-challenging total body workout. Warm up and get the heart pumping with the BOSU, then strengthen and tone your arms and glutes 🍑 on the Reformer, before we head into a full-body segment utilising both the BOSU and our beloved Reformer. This class will engage all the right muscles as you work on your stability, while building strength and toning the body.

This is a Level 1 class.

Tone up in this dynamic Springboard & Chair equipment class! This class fuses invigorating mat exercises with targeted chair and springboard work to ignite a slow muscle burn. Build endurance, stability, and balance while lengthening muscles for a taller, stronger, and beautifully balanced you. Reformer-free, but just as fun and challenging.

This is a Level 1 class.

We're taking it up a notch and bringing you a class designed to take your Pilates practice further with advanced repertoire and more. On top of your usual resistance work on the Reformer, we're adding booty bands and optional free weights to help build strength. Ideal for those looking to test their limits while pursuing precision and control.

This is a Level 2 class.
Prerequisite: 5 to 10 x Level 1 classes
