Pamela B.
Instructor
How did you get into Pilates?
I discovered Pilates while seeking relief for my lower back pain, caused by poor posture during high-impact workouts. Pilates helped improve my strength, alignment, and mind-body connection, allowing me to regain control over my movements and engage the correct muscles. Pilates not only enabled me to return to the activities I love but also became my path to living pain-free.
Why did you become an instructor?
I wanted to help others live a pain-free life, stay consistent with movement, and feel empowered by their strength and mobility as they age.
What makes your classes unique?
I emphasise on the principles and essence of Pilates, helping clients understand why it's important and how to truly experience its benefits. At the same time, I like building connections with each client, ensuring they feel confident and supported, regardless of their fitness level. Let's have fun and grow stronger together!
What do you want clients to leave your class feeling?
Happy, refreshed, stronger, accomplished and grateful for taking the time to care for their bodies—and leave craving more Pilates!
What makes your class sweaty?
The focus on control and precision, along with full-body engagement, makes the workout challenging and sweaty—enhanced by a great music playlist to keep the energy up.
Favourite workout other than Pilates?
I love spin class with a great playlist, weight lifting, and I’ve recently gotten hooked on barre.
