What do you love about Pilates?
I love movement (any type as long as it gets me moving). In particular, I love how Pilates can be modified to be a progression for an individual with better body awareness and strength, yet there is always an option to regress in order to allow individuals to understand their body better.
Pilates also works your brain (to coordinate movements) and activates certain Neuro functions that you never knew was possible! Like moving each toe individually 😂
Why did you become an instructor?
I love movement, so why not encourage movement as a job?
What makes your class unique?
I love intrinsic and tiny little muscles 😂. So more often than not, I try to encourage individuals to explore these "undiscovered muscles".
What do you want clients to leave your class feeling?
Like they've learnt something new. Whether it is a discovery of a new movement, better body awareness or simply learning how far you can push yourself with certain exercises.
Favourite dish to cook?
I always try to use all the ingredients I have in the fridge so nothing goes to waste. But I'm a "cook to survive" kinda person.
